An image of a letter on Canadian government stationery (you can view it here) has been floating around the dexterosphere today. It purports to be a ukase prohibiting Canadian civil servants from including the phrase “Let’s Go, Brandon” in any official communication.
There’s not much that I’d put past our northern neighbor’s pre-adolescent prime minister and his woker-than-thou administration, but this goes past that line. It’s obvious satire, making the point that progressives suffer humor deprivation, and worthy of the Babylon Bee. Happily, it isn’t literally true – at least not yet.
Update (October 20, 2021): Others have now discovered that the “Let’s Go, Brandon” ban was a joke.
