No doubt the Eleventh Circuit will stay a Florida district court order vacating the requirement that transportation passengers wear masks, the irrational remnant of two years of irrational panicdemic policies. Still, one may hope. . . .
Update (6:50 p.m.): To my surprise, the Biden Administration didn’t rush to the appeals court to ask for a stay, and the major airlines (and even Amtrak) immediately made masks optional. Some pilots made the announcement in mid-flight. Perhaps there are folks in the Administration who know a losing cause when they see it – unlike many of their most loud-tweeting fans in the media.
