This item by Jeffrey Blehar is behind National Review’s payroll but is too amusing and bizarre to be left to languish there. I shall quote the key bits in Reader’s Digest fashion (i. e., ellipses omitted and a few words altered for the sake of continuity). I hope that NR will tolerate the condensation as fair use. If not, I’ll disgorge 100 percent of all profits:
I’m sorry to report that Mr. Blehar spoiled the fun by devoting several paragraphs to demonstrating that “For the Love of God, Taylor Swift Is Not a Joe Biden ‘Psyop’.” Nothing spoils the enjoyment of a harmless absurdity like laboring to refute it.
It’s conceivable, of course, that Messrs. Posobiec and Ramaswamy genuinely believe, at least for xTwitter values of belief, that the “Biden regime” plans to rig the Super Bowl and has enlisted Taylor Swift (who, by the bye, ought to bring a defamation action against the photographer who took the picture that accompanies Mr. Blehar’s post) to boost the event’s ratings among her fan base as a preliminary to the endorsement that will impel every football fan in America to vote for Sleepy Joe.
But no matter what they believe, the rest of us should sit back and laugh at it.
